Gov. Oshiomhole Declares 5-day Mourning for Oba Erediauwa

The governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole has declared 5-day mourning period for the late Oba of Benin, Oba Erediauwa who passed away some days ago.


The Edo State government on Tuesday declared five days mourning period in
honour of the late Oba of Benin, Oba Erediauwa.

The news was announced by Gov. Adams Oshiomhole during the State Executive Council meeting in Benin.

He ordered that the nation`s flag should be flown at half mast in the state within the period of mourning. The governor also paid a condolence visit to the Crown Prince Iheneden, on Monday.
